Common Ground on the Hill & Swannanoa Gathering
Added on 18 June 2012
This July I'm off to teach at a couple of festivals in the USA. Both these events are new for me - I've never been to them before, but they do look like great weeks and have impressive reputations!
The dates do mean that I won't be able to teach at the Fort Augustus feis this year, though.

Common Ground on the Hill - Traditions Week II
Traditions Weeks I & II are two separate weeks of classes, concerts, dances and other activities in the traditional roots-based arts, held on the campus of McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland.
I'm teaching 'Singing Traditional Songs' in the mornings and 'Gaelic, Irish and Scottish Song' with Tom Smith and Nuala Kennedy in the afternoons.
Keep in mind that the Common Ground on the Hilll Festival takes place on the weekend between Traditions Weeks I & II, and is held at the nearby Carroll County Farm Museum.
