Every festival has its own style and feel and that's part of the fun of tailoring workshops and other kinds of involvement in festivals.

I recent years I've taken part in festivals as diverse as the Black Isle Words Festival, Glasgow's Celtic Connections, the Merry Dancers Tales at Martinmas, Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival and feis an eilean/the Skye Festival.

Each one is very different and I've had a very different involvement in each - with collaborative performances and  workshops with storytellers, formal classes, informal drift-in installation, and semi-scheduled participatory workshops.
